Carolina Select supervisors routinely visit your home to check on your satisfaction with our service and to see for themselves that the service you receive is up to our high standards. North Carolina Medicaid only requires a supervisor to visit the homes of Personal Care clients once every 90 days. This has become the standard for most agencies. Carolina Select Home Care, however, schedules a supervisory visit to your home every 7 to 10 days. The visit is usually a pleasant chat between our client and one of our top employees. This way, our supervisors get to know you better. They can fill in themselves whenever your usual aide is out, or they can pick the better person to replace your usual aide when she or he is out.

Carolina Select takes reliability very seriously. One of the tools we use to measure reliability is measuring every month the numbers of hours scheduled to be worked in your home and the number of hours that were actually worked (as verified by you). We typically work 97% to 99% of scheduled hours. The most common reason for not working a scheduled hour is that a client was at the doctor's office when we were supposed to be in the home, and the client forgot to tell us. When we know you have appointments during your usual time to receive home care, we will accompany you to your appointment if you need help with walking, or we will reschedule our time in your home.
