Medicaid Pays 100% for
Personal Care Services (PCS)

For qualified recipients, Medicaid pays 100% of personal care costs. Medicaid pays through the PCS (Personal Care Services) program and the CAP (Community Alternatives Program). The Personal Care Services program requires that your doctor certify a form saying that you need help with the qualifying number of activities. We will also visit with you at your home to make sure you meet Medicaid requirements. Then we will coordinate with your doctor to get your services started. CAP-DA services require the authorization of a county social worker.
